This Day In Wrestling History

September 13, 1993 - The Quebecers (Jacques Rougeau & Carl "Pierre" Ouelette) win the WWF World Tag Team championship by defeating Rick & Scott Steiner on Monday Night Raw from New York City. After months of feuding, The Quebecers' manager Johnny Polo (Scott Levy) was able to sign a title match that was to be held under "Province of Quebec" rules, which meant that the belts could change via disqualification. After being goaded into using a hockey stick as a weapon, Scott Steiner was disqualified and Jacques & Pierre were declared the new champions.
